BPI certified and made from plant-based materials such as polyactic acid (PLA), our
compostable pouches can decompose into non-toxic elements and the non-toxic residues can be
cycled into the soil to provide safe and effective nourishment for plant life.

Compostable Stand Up Pouch
Our compostable stand up pouch offers a eco-friendly packaging solution for various
products such as coffee, snacks, nuts, and pet food.
Compostable pouches are made from renewable materials resources and are designed to
decompose naturally in the environment. We offer compostable packaging bags incliding bio
compostable and home compostable options.
1. Compostable Kraft Paper
(1) Source: Our Kraft paper has premium quality to make the compostable pouches food-safe
and durable.
(2) Certificate: Our Kraft paper is FSC (Responsible Forest Resources) certificated and we
always support globally sustainable forest management.
(3) Paper Type: We provide a variety of Kraft paper to ensure the best printing effect to
meet our customers’ need. Brown Kraft paper, white Kraft paper and black Kraft paper
are for choice.
2. NK
(1)
Source: Our NK materials are imported from Natureflex, the UK. The NK layer can acts as
surface and also barrier layer.
(2)
Certification: Home-Compostable certificated bio material.
3. PLA or PBS (heat seal layer)
The heat seal layer that we use in our compostable packaging is either PBS or PLA
material. Both PBS and PLA are effective for heat sealing, while PBS providing superior
temperature resistance and durability. PBS can be used winthin a temperature range of -30 to
100℃ , so PBS can withstand boiling water temperatures and is suitable for a variety of
applications. Moreover, PBS is more convenient for storage, transportation, and use in
marine or hot environments.
Another heat-seal layer material is PBAT.
Compostable Packaging vs
Biodegradable Packaging
Fibre-based materials are biodegradable or even compostable. While all compostable
packaging are biodegradable, not all biodegradable packaging are compostable because the
requirements for compostability go further than biodegradability. To label a material as
compostable, it must biodegrade and disintegrate into non-toxic, fertile soil within a
certain time.
Biodegradable Packaging
Biodegradable packaging also called industrial compostable packaging, which is designed
to biodegrade and decompose exclusively in specialized commercial composting facilities.
These facilities utilize high temperatures exceeding 55 degrees Celsius, far beyond what
can be achieved at home, to hasten the degradation process of the materials.
With the ‘seedling logo’ certification system, consumers can easily recognize
packaging materials that are suitable for compostable.
Home Compostable Packaging
Home compostable packaging allows customers to conveniently dispose of the packaging in
their home compost bin along their organic waste, such as fruits and vegetables. Home
compostable packaging means that all components, including printing inks and adhesives,
can be naturally decomposed into organic soil.
We offer home compostable packaging certified with Australian Home Compostability
standard.
